1. Care Two Hoots for the Mind 2. Blindfolded We

Care Two Hoots for the Mind

Lives of people like Ramana Maharshi

Remind us we do not need a mind

To transact the daily business of life

A far superior intelligence resides

In the life force that pervades every cell

That makes sure the body functions and acts

In all circumstances that it encounters

Far better than when the mind interferes

Without a hitch, with love and compassion.

Blindfolded We

Life is a game, you see.

He that deludes us

Is the one who liberates us

First he blindfolds us

And makes us play

Till at long last

We grow tired of the game

When he takes pity on us

And lets us know

How to remove the blindfold

And opt out of the game.
